14 bolt rear steer

Built a pinion gaurd and incorporated a suck down winch into it. Also tied the gaurd into the truss as well

Started my steering ram mounts but I’ve hit a snag. When I put the ram straight across at center of travel it makes the joints bind and gets a lot of angle if I scoot the ram back towards the housing about 3 inches I don’t have any binding anymore but my links are angled throughout the travel. I’m under the impression you want them straight at center of Travel. The photos are of the first try with it straight and the other two are of it scooted back

With the Ram turned all the way to one side you want the link on the extended side to be as straight as possible. This is when the ram is at its most vulnerable. Keeping the link on the extended side as straight as possible helps protect the ram and the seals. Short side doesn't matter and at center doesn't matter.

Edit: Looking at your pictures the ram needs to move back towards the axle more.
 
Took y’all’s advice and moved it back some more I’m gonna try to move it some more tomorrow I remounted the plate I had it on I lowered it about 5/8 of an inch but it’s hitting the pumpkin now. The only problem I’m having is the ram centerline is roughly an inch higher than the tie rod center line with that said there is a 2 inch swing in height of the tie rod because of the castor. Is this normal or something I should address also. Moving it back made it turn easier so I suspect it was binding somewhere through travel. Also my adhd got the better of me today and started building a new diff cover😂😂

Is it just me, are you oversteering a lot? That's looking like way more than 50 degrees.... Mine turns 45 degrees with a 3x9 ram and isn't nearly that sharp. A steering arm change and the 3x9 will steer 50. More than 50 = boom, and frankly anything more than 45 is a bind.
 
agreed with woody. Looks like you are oversteering. The tire looks like its 75-80 deg when steered all the way!!

Care to break down the parts list your using? Ram length? Looks like busted knuckle hi steer arms. What ram length does BK say to use with those arms?

F450 bk arms 8.5 inches from ball joint center to center of hole,2.75x11 ram from surplus center. I agree it looks too much to me as well. I don’t have shafts yet so I can’t see where they bind.
