33rd Annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari

If you're into the Bible, then you may know that Moab means from my Father. If, however, you're just a 4-wheeler, then you know that Moab means great 4-wheelin' !

Every year, thousands of 4-wheelers converge on the small town of Moab, Utah for the Easter Jeep Safari. Hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers, the safari attracts 4x4's of all types. It's no longer just a Jeep event. Recently, the safari began running from the Saturday before Palm Sunday and ending on Easter Sunday. Nine full days of great 'wheelin' to those who want it.

There are designated runs that you can sign up for, however, many people have found that it's sometimes more fun to run with a small group of friends and go out on the trails that the Red Rockers are not using that day. We actually ended up only going on one of our scheduled trails; Moab Rim.

One thing that has really caught on at EJS is the vendor showcases. Some of the biggest names in the business open up booths in the Spanish Trails Arena and spend 15 hours a day on Thursday and Friday showing off their latest goodies.
