The
rare, elusive, and mysterious long-wheelbase CJ-8s are quickly
becoming collector's items. If you own one of those rare
CJs you now have a place to share your ownership experience.
The
Scrambler
Owners Association (SOA) was recently formed
and is now accepting new memberships. The national organization
was formed by several charter members and now boasts over
50 members from 25 states across the US.
The
purpose of the organization is the preservation, restoration,
and promotion of the Jeep CJs, which were produced from
1981-1986. The web site is the central focus of the organization
providing a searchable directory of members, discussion
forums, detail member profile section and additional features.
A national
CJ-8 Scrambler-only event is also in the works for 2004.
